Images of America: Purcellville (Arcadia Publishing) offers a unique and memorable view of this historically rich town of Virginia. In cooperation with the Purcellville Preservation Association, author Meredith Thomas has collected over 200 archival images that recall the faces and places that have defined the town for the past 150 years.
The Images of America series celebrates the history of neighborhoods, towns, and cities across the country. Using archival photographs, each title presents the distinctive stories from the past that shape the character of the community today. Arcadia is proud to play a part in the preservation of location heritage, making history available to all.
